Take Profit Trader Automates PRO Withdrawals: What Changed and What Didn’t

Take Profit Trader has automated the balance-to-wallet step for Tradovate PRO withdrawals, cutting a process that previously took up to 12 business hours to a matter of seconds. The firm says payout eligibility itself has not changed.

Money flowing through checks and balances

Take Profit Trader has changed how withdrawals are processed for a large portion of its PRO traders.

The firm announced on July 20, 2026 that Tradovate PRO withdrawals now use an automated balance-to-wallet process, replacing the previous manual review step that could take up to 12 business hours. Take Profit Trader says the new automated check typically completes in roughly one to five seconds.

The payout rules themselves are not changing.

PRO traders still have day-one and daily withdrawal eligibility, no funded consistency requirement, and no maximum withdrawal amount on profits above the account buffer.

That distinction matters because the update affects processing speed, not payout eligibility.

What changed

Under the previous workflow, a trader could submit a withdrawal request and then wait while the account-to-wallet transfer was reviewed manually.

Take Profit Trader said that manual process could take up to 12 business hours. During that period, the withdrawal remained effectively pending.

That created an awkward risk window.

If the trader resumed trading while the request was still pending and losses reduced the account balance below the amount needed for the withdrawal, the request could be denied for insufficient funds.

The new automated system removes that waiting period for eligible Tradovate PRO accounts.

Once the trader submits the request, Take Profit Trader says the system checks the account and moves the eligible amount from the trading balance into the trader’s wallet in a matter of seconds.

The trader must be flat at the moment of the request

The new process is faster, but it still has an execution requirement.

Take Profit Trader says the trader must have:

  • no open positions
  • no working orders

at the exact moment the withdrawal request is submitted.

Once the automated check completes and the amount is moved to the wallet, the trader can resume trading.

That is different from the old process, where traders had to think about the possibility of account activity affecting a request during a longer manual review window.

What did not change

Take Profit Trader was explicit that the automation does not alter payout eligibility.

For PRO accounts, the existing structure remains:

  • withdrawals can begin on day one
  • traders can request payouts daily
  • there are no minimum profitable-day requirements
  • there is no funded consistency rule
  • there is no maximum withdrawal amount on eligible profit above the buffer

Take Profit Trader describes the change as an operational improvement rather than a new payout policy.

That is important because payout announcements in the prop-firm space sometimes combine eligibility changes with processing changes. This one does not.

The balance update also moved earlier

Take Profit Trader also moved the nightly dashboard balance update earlier.

The firm says the balance update previously occurred around 10–11 PM ET and now occurs around 8–9 PM ET.

That matters because the balance displayed in the dashboard is part of the withdrawal workflow.

Moving that update earlier gives traders access to updated account information sooner in the evening.

Tradovate PRO accounts get the change first

The first rollout applies to Tradovate PRO accounts, excluding archived accounts that were liquidated more than three days earlier.

Rithmic and PRO+ withdrawals remain on the manual process for now.

Take Profit Trader said Tradovate PRO was chosen first because it represents the majority of its customer base. The firm also said automating that volume should free its service team to process remaining manual withdrawals more quickly.

So the update is meaningful, but it is not yet universal across every TPT account type.

PRO and PRO+ remain different payout environments

Take Profit Trader currently operates two funded stages with different economics.

PRO is a simulated funded account with an 80% trader profit split. PRO traders can withdraw profits above the buffer from day one and daily.

PRO+ is the firm’s live-market account tier. PRO+ uses a 90% trader profit split and does not require the same buffer zone.

Take Profit Trader says progression into PRO+ is based on a broader performance review that can consider consistency, risk management, execution patterns and trading discipline.

The new withdrawal automation applies to Tradovate PRO first, not PRO+.

The buffer still matters in PRO

Take Profit Trader’s PRO payout model allows daily withdrawals, but the account still uses a buffer.

The firm defines the PRO buffer as equal to the account’s drawdown amount. Profits above that buffer can be withdrawn at the standard 80% PRO split.

Take Profit Trader also allows a trader to withdraw from inside the buffer, but doing so closes the account and those funds are paid at a 50% split.

That means the new automation does not remove the underlying buffer mechanics.

It simply makes the eligible balance-to-wallet transfer faster.

The evaluation path also became shorter in August

The payout-processing update came shortly before another change to Take Profit Trader’s program.

On August 17, 2026, the firm reduced the minimum number of evaluation trading days from five to three for new test accounts. The 50% evaluation consistency requirement remained unchanged.

Take Profit Trader said the goal was to shorten the path from evaluation to payout without changing its funded payout structure.

That means the firm has made two separate changes in quick succession:

July: faster withdrawal processing for Tradovate PRO accounts.
August: shorter minimum evaluation period for new test accounts.

Together, those changes reduce both the time needed to reach a PRO account and the processing delay once a withdrawal is requested.

Fast payout eligibility and fast processing are different things

This update is a useful reminder that payout speed has two separate components.

The first is eligibility:

When is the trader allowed to request money?

The second is processing:

How long does it take the firm to move the approved amount through its internal system and payment workflow?

Take Profit Trader already had an unusually aggressive eligibility model, with day-one and daily PRO payout access.

The July update targets the second part.

That distinction is useful when comparing prop firms because two companies can advertise “daily payouts” while still having very different approval and processing workflows.

What this changes for active traders

Operationally, the biggest change is the removal of the extended pending period for eligible Tradovate PRO withdrawals.

Under the old process, a trader had to consider whether continuing to trade while a request was under review might reduce available funds.

Under the new system, the withdrawal amount can be transferred to the wallet almost immediately after the automated check, after which the trader can resume trading without the pending request hanging over the account.

That should make withdrawal timing simpler for traders who remain active throughout the week.

The broader significance

Prop firms increasingly compete on payout mechanics, not just account size or evaluation price.

The differences now include:

  • how quickly payout eligibility begins
  • whether qualifying days are required
  • whether funded consistency rules apply
  • whether withdrawals are capped
  • whether buffers are required
  • how quickly requests are processed
  • whether the funded stage is simulated or live

Take Profit Trader’s latest change does not introduce a new payout rule.

Instead, it removes friction from one of the operational steps between earning profit and accessing it.

For Tradovate PRO users, the result is a shorter gap between submitting a withdrawal request and seeing the funds move out of the trading account.

For Rithmic and PRO+ traders, the older manual process remains in place for now.
