Editorial Standards
The standards we use to report, verify, correct, and explain information.
Accuracy and attribution
We identify the source of material claims whenever practical. Official statements, firm documentation, direct responses, and first-hand accounts are treated differently from rumor, commentary, and anonymous claims.
Social-media reporting
A social post may be evidence of what a person said, but it is not automatically proof that the underlying claim is true. We use cautious language, preserve attribution, and seek additional confirmation for consequential claims.
Analysis and automation
Analysis and automated tools may help organize information, but published work remains subject to human review. Automated summaries and market-state displays can be incomplete or wrong and should not be treated as independent verification.
Conflicts and commercial relationships
Any sponsorship, affiliate relationship, compensation, or other material connection will be disclosed clearly near the affected content. Commercial relationships will not be presented as independent reporting.
Updates
Rules, pricing, products, and firm policies can change. We update published work when material facts change and identify meaningful updates when practical.
